Sound of Music: My ‘Sound of Music’ costume is a very popular choice. This classic film, starring Julie Andrews, has universal appeal and due to the Sing-a-long nature of the well known songs from the film this outfit is ideal for a wide variety of events. I perform a medley of the classic songs such as: ‘Do Re Me’ (complete with all the actions!), ‘How do you solve a problem like Maria?’ and ‘My favourite things.’ The costume comprises of lederhosen made out of curtains. If it looks home-made, it is! I am often asked to perform wearing this costume in offices when someone is leaving and also when someone is retiring or moving abroad and sing ‘So long, farewell’.
