Gorilla’s, Apes, Teddy bears & Elvis

With my original singing telegram online marketing being designed in 2005 and launched via, an updated website was long overdue and so it was back to the concept board to decide on how best to proceed. This time round, online research was facinating to say the least and the realisation that singagrams in the UK have moved on considerably and whilst in 2005, there were not that many characters and costumes being offered, in 2011 things have become quite interesting. I’m glad to say that my own wardrobe of costumes has expanded to at least 50 costumes and I’m looking forward to the photo-shoot in June with Harlequin Photography to capture the main costumes for the new website.

Looking at what other sing-a-grams are offering, I wonder if I’m missing a trick or two. Currently on offer around the UK are santa-grams, singing gorillas, elvis-o-grams, singing clowns, singing hearts, singing doctors, singing nurses. The list goes on and on, with more o-grams than it’s possible to imagine and many popular celebrity-a-grams – Elvis, Madonna, Neil Diamond, Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson and lets not forget the ever popular singing fireman and one of my personal favourites – the teddy-bear-gram. Are people really making a living dressing up as Teddy Bears? How fantastic is that!? But, it gets even stranger. Professional/singing entertainers are going out into the night as singing chickens, singing horses, singing clowns and how about this…a singing grim reaper – I wonder what he sings? I could go on and yes, the list does get a great deal more off-the-wall, but suffice to say that the UK does have an appetite for some very unusual entertainment and there is hope and perhaps a long/enjoyable career for this humble singagram service.

So, whatever your event: corporate functions, wedding reception, birthday party, christening, proms, christmas party, dinner dance or any kind of private party and no matter what genre of sing-a-gram you are looking for, be assaured that the costume will exist somewhere in the UK…even gorilla grams, singing apes, pipe-o-grams, silly grams, laughing grams and magic grams. And given the limitations of my own list of costumes, I’m impressed. That said, if you are interested in booking the UK’s number one sing-a-gram service, take a look at the costumes on offer via Tristan James Entertainment and if what you need is not on the list, get in touch, ask and we will do our very best to accomodate your needs.
